1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering as a client or driver, creating a booking, or otherwise using DriveNow, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

DriveNow is a driver recruitment and booking platform connecting clients who need professional drivers with vetted, verified drivers in Nigeria. Services include hourly driver hire, full-day driver hire, interstate trips, and event driver teams. DriveNow acts as an intermediary and does not employ drivers directly.

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

• Clients: You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts in Nigeria.
• Drivers: You must hold a valid Nigerian driver's licence, meet our verification requirements, and comply with applicable road traffic laws. You represent that all information and documents you provide are accurate and complete.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Bookings and Payments

• Fees are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are subject to applicable taxes.
• Payment is processed via Paystack. By paying, you agree to Paystack's terms and our payment policies.
• Cancellation and refund policies apply as communicated at the time of booking. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with our policies.

5. Driver Conduct and Responsibilities

Drivers must conduct themselves professionally, obey traffic laws, and treat clients with respect. Drivers are responsible for their own vehicles, insurance, and compliance with Nigerian road safety regulations. DriveNow reserves the right to suspend or remove drivers who violate these Terms or fail to meet our standards.

6. Client Conduct

Clients must provide accurate booking information and treat drivers with respect. Clients are responsible for the safety and care of any vehicle used during the booking. DriveNow is not liable for disputes between clients and drivers arising from conduct outside our platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, DriveNow and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant booking. DriveNow does not guarantee availability of drivers or uninterrupted service.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If resolution is not possible, disputes may be submitted to the courts of Nigeria.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
